Atelier Maison was created in May 2014 by two architects, Paula Agius-Vadala’ and Katja Abela, who mainly focus on architectural design and interior architecture. This is translated thought the balance of form and volumes, timeless materials, colour and geometry which all unite as part of the architecture itself.

At Atelier Maison, it is believed that the design and way a space works must revolve around the client’s lifestyle or requirements – ending up with a very client specific brief and therefore a tailor made experience of space. The team works towards achieving timeless designs for both interior and architectural projects. Atelier Maison feels responsible to enrich spaces by moulding them to the client’s lifestyle, giving the clients something they didn’t know they needed yet. All projects designed by Atelier Maison, not only address how the space will work in the present, but also how it will evolve in the future. It is all about innovative ideas in the form of custom designs and good detailing, while looking at the architecture holistically. Elements such as planes, volumes and light shafts are adopted to create spaces to their maximum potential and spatial capability.
